The first thing I saw was this Remi Striped Side Gathered tank and these Carolynn Colored Cuffed Denim off white shorts:
While the tank would be somewhat nursing friendly I just don't like how it fits and think it is very unflattering. The shorts are kind of big and blah. These are both going back.
Next up was this Kamile Jersey Ruched Detail Dress:
The dress is cute and I love the color, but I don't like how it gives me a giant uni-boob. It might have been more flattering with a better fitting bra instead of my crappy nursing one, but I didn't think this was worth $64 so it's going back.
Next up was this Ohara Faux Wrap Tie-Waist Dress:
I love the fun color and the pattern on it. I wear far too much black and I need a kick outside my comfort zone and this is it. I always worry about this style and the possibility of a boob popping out, but it would be very nursing friendly and I could even wear it to work while I'm still pumping. I'm keeping this one.
Lastly is this fun Farris Scallop Detail Cross Body bag in the coral:
Again, I love the color and it's perfect for getting me to add a pop of color to some of my outfits. I'm keeping this one.
All in all this fix was relatively successful. In order for me to buy all five items (and get that 25% discount) I would have to LOVE everything and so far that hasn't happened. I'm not willing to spend the money to keep something that I don't love (the stuff isn't cheap) so I don't know if I'll ever get that nice discount. I'm debating if I should delay my next fix for a couple months so I don't spend too much money. Especially with Elliot's birthday coming up ;)
I like the dress you kept and the bag! I also like the pink dress! Cute!
ReplyDeleteI liked the pink dress, but I didn't think it was flattering enough for the price. I'm happy with the green dress, though.
